Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG) announced that the 14th annual Ventura County Farm Day will take place May 8, 2027.

Farm Day is a free, interactive experience where the public visits farms and other agricultural venues throughout the county. It offers behind-the-scenes tours, tractor rides, produce tastings and giveaways, and kid-friendly activities while visitors learn first-hand how food is grown, harvested and delivered to stores locally and around the world.

“Agriculture is everywhere you look here in Ventura County, yet most of us don’t get to see all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes,” says SEEAG Executive Director Caitlin Paulus-Case. “Ventura County Farm Day is a chance to explore local farms, meet the people growing our food, and celebrate the agriculture that surrounds us.”

Farms, ranches and agricultural organizations interested in participating can contact Kylie Barbar at kylie@seeag.org.

SEEAG is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) with a mission to educate students and the greater community about the farm origins of our food and agriculture’s contribution to our nutritional well-being. To learn more about becoming a Farm Day sponsor, contact Liz Shura at liz@seeag.org.
